Tali Roth

Praised by Classical Guitar Magazine as “an extraordinary solo and chamber musician” and by The New York Times as “a marvelous classical guitarist,” Tali Roth is recognized as one of the most compelling and charismatic classical guitarists of her generation. With an international career spanning major concert stages, film collaborations, and influential teaching positions, she continues to shape the global classical guitar community both as a performer and educator.

Performance Career

Since her Carnegie Hall debut, Tali Roth has appeared as a soloist and chamber musician across the United States, Canada, Europe, Latin America, and Japan. Her performances have been presented at distinguished venues and festivals including Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center with violinist Midori, Rose Hall at Lincoln Center, the 92nd Street Y Festival in New York, the Alvin Ailey TheaterHenry Crown Hall in Tel AvivSanremo Town Hall in ItalyTeatro Presidente in San Salvador with the El Salvador Philharmonic under the direction of Maestro Sarmientos, Teatro Solís in Montevideo, Uruguay, and the Haiyuza Theatre in Roppongi, Tokyo.

She has also collaborated with members of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and the New York Philharmonic, further expanding her work in chamber and orchestral collaborations.

Film and Recording

Ms. Roth performed the guitar soundtrack for the 2010 film You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger, directed by Woody Allen and starring Anthony Hopkins, Antonio Banderas, and Freida Pinto. Her work in recording and multimedia projects reflects a commitment to bringing classical guitar to broader audiences through film and contemporary artistic collaborations.

Education and Mentorship

A highly respected pedagogue, Tali Roth has played an important role in shaping the next generation of classical guitarists. She previously served as Director of the Guitar Department at New York University (NYU) and is the recipient of the Carnegie Hall Teaching Excellence Award.

Since 2005, she has been Head of the Guitar Program at The Juilliard School’s Pre-College Division, where she mentors exceptional young musicians and helps cultivate emerging talent from around the world.

Artistic Leadership

Beyond her performing and teaching career, Ms. Roth is deeply committed to creating platforms that support young artists and foster international collaboration. She serves as President of the GuitarOasisInternational Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting musical talent worldwide through festivals, concerts, recordings, and educational initiatives.

Sharon Farber

Peer group moderator at the TV Academy, Board member of ASCAP, Former Vice-president of the Alliance for Women Film Composers, Winner of the Society of Composers and Lyricists Award for “Outstanding work in the Art of Film Music” and nominated for the Society of Composers and Lyricists’ “Best Song for a Drama”,

ASCAP composers’ choice nominee, World Soundtrack Award nominee, Hollywood Music in Media award nominee, winner of the Visionary Award in Music by The Women’s International Film & Television Showcase, and winner of the Telly Award, composer Sharon Farber is a celebrated Film, TV and concert music composer.

A graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Film scoring and Concert composition (dual major), Sharon has been working with networks and cable broadcasters such as Netflix, Amazon/MGM, NBC, CBS, Showtime, Lifetime and the WB as well as composing music for feature films, documentaries and the concert stage. Her film music has been released commercially and performed live in concerts.

Sharon has recently completed Tyler Perry’s feature “From Italy With Love” for Amazon/MGM and and she is currently working on a feature film for NETFLIX. Her latest soundtrack releases are “Jacob The Baker” and “October 8” (Amazon Prime). Prior to that she scored award winning director Nina Menkes’ documentary “Brainwashed- Sex- Camera- Power”, which premiered at Sundance and the Berlin Film Festival (available on Amazon Prime, soundtrack available on all platforms).

Sharon is one of 9 female composers featured at Lincoln Center, at the historical “Women Warriors- Voices of Change” concert and GRAMMY winning album and she is also one of the few composers featured in the concert event celebrating female composers.

The universally praised Greek guitarist Antigoni Goni is a British council, Royal Academy and Juilliard School scholar. As the founder of Classical Guitar magazine Maurice J. Summerfield, puts it “today she is an internationally acclaimed soloist and recording artist, sought after pedagogue and festival organizer, whose artistry and expertise is in great demand internationally”.

Her career blossomed in the mid 90s after winning the Guitar Foundation of America Competition, which resulted in some 65 concerts in North America and a contract with Naxos Records. Since then, she performed virtually everywhere, in concert halls such as the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Covent Garden and the Wigmore Hall in London, the Odeon of Herodes Atticus in Acropolis (Athens) as well as the Philharmonic and the Cappella Sale in St. Petersburg, the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow, and Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall in New York to mention just a few. Her highly successful recordings for Naxos, Koch, and Timespan records have been praised for being "expressively poetic and technically exciting" and have been received with great enthusiasm by the international musical community. Her last solo CD “Hymn to the Muse” is a collection of original works and transcriptions directly inspired by Greek culture and heritage and as Italian Magazine DOT Guitar states “an exceptional recording which confirms without doubt Antigoni Goni as one of the greatest performers of the guitar on the world stage.”

Her last internationally acclaimed multimedia project Medio Siglo, pays tribute to the work of Spanish José Luis Romanillos, capturing on a limited vinyl album and documentary the heart and sound of the last four creations of the master luthier and is called by the Italian magazine Il Fronimo, a “rare editorial jewel”.

She is the founder of the Guitar Department at the Pre-College Division of Juilliard School of Music of New York where she also taught for 10 years. Since 2005 Antigoni Goni has been Professor of Guitar at the Royal Conservatory in Brussels (Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel) and a member of its Artistic Committee. In April 2015, the Royal Conservatory named her “Professor of the year” making her the youngest professor ever presented with the “Madame de la Hault” prize, awarded by the Brussels Royal Conservatory’s “Patrimonium”. She is the creator of The Brussels Guitar Laboratory (a collaboration with the research department of the Royal Conservatory of Brussels) and the founder and artistic director of “The Volterra Project, Summer Guitar Institute”, an innovative Classical Guitar workshop that in Tuscany (Italy).

Martha Masters

“Dynamically supple…vivid and assured…graceful performance…” The New York Times

Internationally renowned classical guitarist Martha Masters has built a career defined by expressive depth, artistic versatility, and a commitment to expanding the guitar’s presence on the concert stage. She first gained international recognition in 2000 when she won First Prize at the Guitar Foundation of America International Concert Artist Competition and the Andrés Segovia International Competition in Linares, Spain, and was named a finalist in the Alexandre Tansman International Competition of Musical Personalities in Poland.

Since then, Masters has maintained an active international career as a soloist, chamber musician, and concerto performer, appearing on major concert series and festivals throughout the United States, Europe, Russia, China, and Australia. Her performances are noted for their clarity of musical vision, expressive range, and thoughtful engagement with both canonical and contemporary repertoire.

​Masters has released seven recordings on the Naxos and GSP labels and authored three pedagogical publications with Mel Bay Publications and Alfred Music. Her work as a performer is closely connected to her roles as an educator, conductor, and arts advocate, informing a broader artistic vision grounded in collaboration, leadership, and access.

Eleonora Perretta

Eleonora Perretta is a distinguished classical guitarist, internationally acclaimed for her exceptional technique, interpretative versatility and refined sound.

Despite her young age, the gifted Italian musician has already performed in prestigious concert halls across Europe, including the Wiener Musikverein Concert Hall, the Tallinn Philharmonic Concert Hall and the Brussels Royal Conservatory Concert Hall. She has been featured in major festivals such as the Guitart Festival in Bulgaria, the Uppsala Guitar Festival in Sweden, the Segovia Guitar Festival, the Mottola International Guitar Festival, the Ravello Festival, the Volterra Project, the Italian Guitar Campus, and the concert series at the Basilica Reale Pontificia San Francesco da Paola in Italy.

In 2022, she graduated Summa cum Laude from the Domenico Cimarosa Conservatory in Avellino, studying under M° Aniello Desiderio. In 2024, she obtained her second master’s degree with Highest Distinction from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels under the guidance of M° Antigoni Goni, receiving the prestigious Horlait-Dapsens Foundation Award for the highest final grade. She has also pursued advanced studies with M° Aniello Desiderio at the Stefano Strata Academy in Pisa and with M° Paolo Pegoraro at the Segovia Guitar Academy in Pordenone.

Her solo debut album will be released in early 2026 by Da Vinci Records featuring South American music, with an original composition dedicated to her by Leo Brouwer. Two additional solo albums are currently in preparation for Naxos Records: a complete recording of the works of Ernesto Nazareth and a complete recording of the works of Chiquinha Gonzaga. Later this year, her debut duo album with Antigoni Goni, titled Music Gardens of the World, will be released in early 2026 by Naxos Records. Alongside her concert activity, Eleonora is a faculty member of the Volterra Project, a prestigious summer program for emerging young guitarists founded by internationally renowned guitarist Antigoni Goni. She currently teaches classical guitar at the Conservatory of Kortrijk and the Academy for Visual Arts, Music, and Drama in Menen, Belgium. Starting in September, she will also join the Royal Conservatory of Brussels as a researcher, in collaboration with scholars from both the KCB and the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and will join Antigoni Goni as her teaching assistant.

Eleonora has won numerous prizes in national and international competitions, including the Uppsala International Guitar Competition, the Mottola Festival International Competition, the Eduguitar International Guitar Competition, the Fiuggi Guitar Festival Competition, Forum Gitarre Wien, the Altamira Gorizia International Guitar Competition, and the Special Edition Prize at the Koblenz International Guitar Competition.

Carlo Siliotto

Golden Globe nominated Film composer and an HMMA (Hollywood Music In media Awards) winner.

Since 1984 he has written music for over a hundred projects, ranging from theatrical features to documentaries and television series. Carlo’s ability to blend modern sonorities with the melodic traditions of Italian film music has been a passport for working alongside many established directors and producers, such as Patricia Riggen, Eugenio Derbez, Jonathan Hensleigh, Robert Markowitz, Ricky Tognazzi, Carlos Saura- Medrano, Clive Donner, Sergev Bodrov, Ivan Passer, Joseph Sargent, Roger Young, Uli Edel, Sergio Sanchez Suarez, Robert Allan Ackermann, Ram Bergman, Domenico Procacci, Carlo Carlei, Maurizio Nichetti, Monica Lozano, Avi Arad, Joe Roth, DeVon Franklin, Oliver Stone, Raul Martinez and others.

In 2007, Carlo received a Golden Globe nomination for his work on Nomad: The Warrior (Bodrov-Passer), and in 2011 he was nominated by the Italian critics for the “Nastro d’Argento” for the music of Il Padre e lo Straniero (Tognazzi). In 2004 was nominated for Best Music by the International Film Music Critics Association (IFMCA) for The Punisher. Other accolades include Best Music for comedy by the IFMCA (2014), and the “Colonne Sonore” award for Best Original Score for a foreign film, both for Instruction Not Included (No Se Aceptan Devoluciones) and Miracles From Heaven (P. Riggen).In 2021 was nominated by HMMA for Qazaq (Lopatonok) and in 2022 received the HMMA Award for Cuando Sea Joven (Martinez) Carlo began playing guitar and violin at an early age, and pursued formal studies in composition at the Conservatory of Frosinone.

He was among the founders of the popular folk band Canzoniere del Lazio (1973-1980). The group released six albums, revisiting traditional songs and music from Southern Italy and mixing musical styles, particularly combining rock, jazz and classical music with Mediterranean music roots. Over the years the group went on several national and international tours, playing all across Europe and in several African countries, such as Somalia, Tanzania, Mozambique, Zambia, Kenya and Nigeria.

After the dissolution of Canzoniere, Carlo released a concept album Ondina with the label Polygram, and took a leading role as violinist and composer for Carnascialia, a project involving many prominent artists in the italian folk and rock scene of the 1970’s. Between 1980 and 1984 Carlo was also featured as a violinist, composer and arranger on several albums by some of Italy’s most acclaimed songwriters, such as Domenico Modugno, Antonello Venditti, Francesco De Gregori and many others.

In addition to his work for the silver screen, Carlo is a prolific composer of concert music. His latest suite O’ Patrone d’o Cane was released in the U.S. by La-La Land Records, and abroad by Cinéfonia Records (FR) and Deltadischi (IT). Carlo currently lives and works in Los Angeles, California. He is a proud member of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences (Oscar) and of The SCL (Society of Composers and Lyricists).

Federico Ferrandina

Classical composer and performer

Federico Ferrandina is a film composer, classical composer, and guitarist whose work spans feature films, television, animation, and contemporary media. His music has been placed in major studio films and long-running television series, including Dallas Buyers Club and The Big Bang Theory, as well as independent and internationally distributed productions.

Alongside his work for screen, Ferrandina maintains an active career as a classical composer and performer. As a classical guitarist, he brings an instrument-centered approach to composition, informed by Mediterranean, modal, and contemporary classical traditions. His concert works and solo repertoire explore timbre, resonance, and formal clarity, and his performance backgroud directly informs his writing for strings plucked instruments across both concert and media contexts.

Ferrandina’s screen work is marked by lyrical intensity, textural depth, and a refined sense of musical dramaturgy, making his music particularly suited to narrative-driven formats such as film, animation, and long-form television. His compositions have been released and licensed through established industry channels and continue to reach international audiences.

In parallel with his creative work, Ferrandina is an established conservatory-level educator in Italy, where he teaches composition and related disciplines. His pedagogical focus includes film scoring, classical guitar and the development of a personal artistic voice grounded in strong technical and aesthetic foundations. He is also active internationally, including extended collaborations with renowned musician Omar Faruk Tekbilek, as well as with artists in the United States and Canada, which have contributed to a broadened, cross-cultural musical language.

Amit Weiner 

Israeli composer a concert pianist, and a presenter.

As a composer he is active in both the genre of concert music, and in music for films and TV. His oeuvre includes over 100 chamber, vocal and orchestral works.

Dr. Weiner is the winner of Israel Prime Minister Award for Composers 2022, The most prestigious prize for composers in Israel.

He is working with some of the biggest companies in the film industry such as Universal Production Music, Warner/Chappell Music Group Production, Sony/ATV, Sonoton (Germany), Non Stop Music, Gothic Storm Music (UK).

His music was played in many places around the world and recorded in such studios as Abbey Road Studios (UK), and has been performed at Carnegie Hall among others.

Amit Weiner has performed in concert tours in Asia and America, included Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay in Singapore, Hong Kong, Macau, Vietnam, and all over the US.

In addition to his position as professor of composition and Head of The Cross-Disciplinary Composition Department, at the at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, Dr. Weiner serves frequently as a guest composer in universities and conferences around the world,

 In 2020 Amit has won a grant from New Music USA, to compose a new piece as a collaboration with Peridance Contemporary Dance Company to be premiered in its 2021 season.

Amit is working closely with organizations in the USA such as The Back Story Group, in educational and artistic collaborations, and with Arts by The People in projects such as Intonation and Bridging Gaps.
